About Us

I’m a self-taught Sneaker Artist born and raised in Watts, CA—a city where creatives tend to get overlooked because of the violence that usually grabs the headlines. I’ve been painting shoes for 8 years, mastering the craft on my own.

​For the past 3 years, I actually stepped away from social media and creating my art to focus on something bigger. I’ve been mentoring kids in schools throughout LAUSD. Now, I’m blending those two worlds together. I use my platform and my artwork to inspire kids from the community to believe in themselves, find their own talents, and see what’s possible through creativity.

​Right now, I’m getting ready to launch my upcoming “Paint with Zapatos” summer workshop. It’s a creative space where kids brainstorm their own designs on paper before painting sneaker sculptures, giving them a real hands-on experience with art.
